Range Rules:
Range Rules: While you are taking part in competition or practice sessions at Alice Springs Shooting Complex, you are required to abide by the range rules. Remember that safety around firearms is everybody's concern!

- All firearms must be stored in a bag or case when transported from the car to the range.
- All persons attending the range should be dressed appropriately. Sandals, thongs and camouflage clothing are not permitted.
- When on or near the firing line, eye and ear protection must be worn.
- All persons on the range must obey the range officer at all times.
- Firearms must be secured when not in use.
- When moving around the range, firearms are to be handled safely. They must be unloaded, with the action open and the magazine removed.
- There may also be rules specific to each individual discipline, however the above general rules apply to all SSAA ranges.
